Test Leader

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of test, including: generation of the test plan and test model; implementation of the test procedures; evaluation of test coverage and test results, generation of the test evaluation summary.
* Ability to analyze product/project requirements to create test plans and strategies.
* Co-ordinate and lead efforts for group testing on a project basis.
* Assist the Test Manager in determination of risk for defects found. Understanding of end-user impact and frequency of occurrence.
* Utilize automated tools to decrease the time of a software testing cycle. May use server side scripting or programming as needed to conduct automated testing.

Technical Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements --
* Strong understanding of CS/BS systems, web application and Database testing (5-7 years total experience).
* Experience developing test plans, test strategies and testing schedules using software requirements documents (3-5 years experience).
* Knowledge of testing methodology, test processes and best practices.
* Defect reporting, tracking and root cause analysis.
* Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)

Preferred/Nice to have requirements --
* Automation testing for regression, load or stress testing.
* Experience working in offshore model.
* Well organized process oriented individual.
* BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
